Vivien Scotson is a young Scottish singer and songwriter based in Glasgow.
In the three years she has been performing she has performed at festivals all over Scotland, gigged all over the UK, been aired on radio stations all over Scotland and performed on albums and tracks of several different artists.
Although Vivien works entirely independently, she has succeeded in supporting an interesting collection of performers, such as;
SANDY THOM, CHARLEY PRIDE, CHRIS DIFFORD (squeeze), PAUL YOUNG, DONNIE MUNRO, KATE CAMPBELL AND PHIL CUNNINGHAM AND ALI BAIN.
Vivien very recently performed a half hour live session on the BBC Radio Scotland "Iain Anderson Show" as part of Celtic Connections 2008.
Other musical activity over the past year includes; Vocals on 5 tracks of Donnie Munro's new album Heart of America.
Vocals on the new Blair Douglas album.
Featured on a music video with The Hugh Trowsers Band shown across the whole of the UK and beyond. Also featured on the Gretna FC single which reached number 26 on the Radio One Charts for two weeks!
